Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using the FridgeChef mobile application or website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the app or any of its features. These terms apply to all users including free (Basic), Plus, and Chef tier subscribers.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use FridgeChef. By using the app you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have obtained parental or guardian consent to use the service.

You may register using an email and password or via Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful registration information.
• Not share your account with or transfer it to any other person.
• Notify us immediately at adnanmaneri2015@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
• Not create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits or bans.

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently delete accounts that violate these terms.

FridgeChef offers three subscription tiers — Basic (free), Plus, and Chef. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Google Play and managed via RevenueCat.

• All purchases are final and non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through Google Play's subscription settings.
• Downgrading to Basic will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. Your daily usage limits will be adjusted accordingly.
• We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. Price changes will be communicated with reasonable advance notice.

You agree to use FridgeChef only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the app.
• Use automated scripts or bots to generate recipes or scan ingredients at scale.
• Upload images containing illegal, harmful, or inappropriate content via the camera scanning feature.
• Use the chat or social features to harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our servers, databases, or other users' accounts.
• Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension without refund.

Recipes and suggestions generated by FridgeChef are produced by AI and are provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, safety, or suitability of any AI-generated recipe for your specific dietary needs, allergies, or health conditions. Always exercise your own judgement before preparing and consuming food. FridgeChef is not liable for any adverse outcomes resulting from following AI-generated recipes.

Certain features require camera access (ingredient scanning) and location access (geofencing reminders on Plus and Chef plans). These permissions are optional and can be revoked at any time through your device settings. Revoking permissions will disable the corresponding features but will not affect your core access to the app.

All content, branding, and software within FridgeChef — including but not limited to the name, logo, design, and underlying code — is owned by FridgeChef and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app solely for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works from any part of the app without prior written consent.

FridgeChef is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, secure, or available at all times. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without notice.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FridgeChef and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or personal injury arising from following AI-generated recipes. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the subscription in the three months preceding the claim.

You may delete your account at any time from within the app. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without notice if you breach these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately and your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via an in-app notification or email. The updated terms will display a revised effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Islamabad, Pakistan.
